Thank you for a Fantastic Fall Fête!
It has been a long time since we have been able to gather together to celebrate and support our unique, homegrown preschool! We had to be creative these last two years, hosting virtual or drive-through events. We missed you! And, after two years apart, we were so delighted to see everyone as we celebrated one of Open Door’s most cherished values: PLAY! We had games, great music, delicious food, and bubbly libations. The Fête was adults-only, but we were able to offer on-site childcare for attendees.
The annual Fall Fête is our only fundraising event of the year. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of high-quality childcare and preschool education, and we rely on philanthropy like yours to enable us to prioritize educational equity and inclusion for every student, provide financial assistance, classroom accommodations, specialized interventions, and other family support so that no one is left out. Most schools view these as “extras” or offer them only to a small group of families. But at Open Door Preschools, they are everyday essentials, giving each wonderfully unique child and family we serve the support they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
